Riverside - Sioux City, IA

History
During the late 1890s to the 1920s, the residents of Sioux City found their leisure and amusement at Riverside Park, a significant attraction in the area. This location featured a variety of recreational options, including the region's first amusement park with a roller coaster, alongside country clubs, picnic areas, baseball fields, race tracks, and fairgrounds, making Riverside Park a comprehensive center for entertainment.
Today the Riverside Sports Complex (also known as the SYA fields) boasts 6 grass fields, a two-story clubhouse with a meeting room upstairs, and a full-service concession stand on the first floor. Conveniently located off of I29, Riverside Sports Complex is the home of the largest Softball League in the Tri-State area as well as the host of multiple baseball/softball tournaments and camps/training opportunities.

CNOS Field
The CNOS Field at the Miracle League is uniquely and exclusively designed to accommodate individuals with disabilities. It’s a rubber surface, so it’s wheelchair-friendly and ready for inclusive play. It’s big enough for our players, coaches, and buddies, but small enough so our fans can watch someone hit a “dinger.”

SCHEELS Field
Thanks to the generosity of the Scheels corporation in Sioux City, we’ve built a brand new field on the Sioux City Miracle League complex.
This 200ft, all-turf field opens the door for us to welcome youth sports, travel teams, and other community programs to join in on the fun with us. Bonus, this second field is just as accessible as our first, so we can have twice the fun on Miracle League game days.
